I love Pandaresearch.com. Ever since I began doing surveys at home for money, Pandaresearch has been one of my favorite haunts.

There are literally hundreds of online money making schemes. Many of them are just that - schemes. The trick to finding a legitimate online survey company is to do a little research. If a site promises $10,000, chances are it’s a scam. A trip to the Bahamas? It’s a scam. But when they offer you $3 to do a 10 minute survey, chances are it’s legitimate.

I’ve been participating in online surveys since I got laid off from my job two months ago. While these sites will not pay your mortgage, or make you wealthy, they are a good way to earn a few extra dollars in between job interviews.

And IP addresses are easy to check. Take it slow and realize the process for what it is - a chance to earn a few bucks while sitting at home.

There are a variety of surveys to choose from at Pandaresearch.com. Many of them are free, but be wary of those who offer $45. The surveys that pay more than $10 often have a catch. Like switching your telephone carrier. Unless you are seriously thinking of doing this, avoid this type of survey. You might end up spending more in transferring your telephone service than you make in the survey.

The best thing about pandaresearch.com is that they pay through Paypal instead of by check. Signing up for a paypal account is easy and the site has a link to Paypal that will walk you through it. For those of you who are leery of Paypal, don’t be. I’ve been using Paypal for a number of years and have yet had any money stolen. Paypal is a free service and you can request a debit card from them for no charge. In addition, you can transfer money to and from your bank account without any fees. The debit card has a Mastercard logo and can be used anywhere credit cards are taken. Best of all, for each purchase you make using your Paypal card as a credit card, you get money back into your account.

The only problem with pandaresearch.com is that you have to accumulate $100 in your account before you receive payment. But it’s not difficult to do. Unlike some survey companies, they will not “kick you off the site” for inactivity. So you can participate in surveys at your leisure. Then, when you have accumulated $100, simply ask to have the money transferred to your Paypal account. It’s really very simple. However, the process does take four weeks for completion.

The surveys range from vacation getaways to shoes. You will not be turned down for any survey. In order to qualify for to be a pandaresearch panelist, you must be a United States resident at least 18 years of age and have a valid e-mail address. They will not accept an anonymous e-mail address, such as a hotmail account or yahoo account. No proxy servers will be accepted. And, again, only one person from each household can qualify.

Online surveys can be a fun way to make money while sitting online. If you have an opinion and like to shop, this is an excellent way to make some extra money in your spare time.

4) Tom Tom Navigator 6 Bluetooth. If you are looking for feature rich navigation then this is certainly the tool for you. This is useful with laptops and Palm systems. Not only will you find mapping technology that is quite superior but you will also find useful things such as parking garages, fueling stations, and restaurants along the way.

You will notice a great variety of prices and features with these devices. The important thing to remember is that you want the same or better features for less with this type of equipment since you are providing either the laptop or the PDA. If you already have the laptop or PDA you should be able to save a tremendous amount of money over the costs of purchasing a stand-alone auto navigation system. If you aren’t getting an incredible bargain you might want to debate whether or not the system you opt for really is the best system for you.

Perhaps the most important thing to keep in mind is the fact that your laptop or PDA can become an important tool in keeping you on the right track when traveling. You don’t have to be lucky to get a real steal at a car auction - although, it does help. Mostly you just have to be patient and have a really good eye for cars. Of course, if you’re not a car person, it really isn’t all that hard to get a car enthusiast to come along. But what if you don’t have any monkey wrenching friends? What should you steer clear of at a car auction, and how can you know what is a steal, and what is a recipe for a crash? Getting something at a car auction isn’t like going to your local dealer, but you are still pretty likely to end up with a lemon. What’s worse, there’s no such thing as a refund. Getting your car-o-vision

First of all, forget everything you think you know about the odometer’s mileage. It’s just a sales gimmick. Granted higher mileage does mean higher maintenance, but at a car auction, high mileage can mean that it’s a good sturdy car. Don’t fret if something that otherwise looks really great has over three hundred thousand miles on it. There are bigger things you should worry about. Such as rust. However, the previous owner might have repaired or replaced some of the parts that rust most commonly affects. If you really like a car, but are kinda sketchy about the rust, walk around the back and have a quick look at the exhaust. Although, if it’s running, you should be able to hear if the exhaust is in good condition. Nevertheless, give it a once-over and look for holes or anything hanging.

The auction driver can also be your greatest asset. When each car pulls up and drives away during the car auction, watch the driver for a couple seconds. See if they have to go through some kind of charade to put it in gear, or can’t get the radio to work. Don’t be afraid to ask the driver what they had to do in order to make the car start. If they have to open the door so you can chat, then it’s likely not a keeper.

Your ears are your best friend

If for some strange reason you become addicted to the car auction, you’ll eventually pick up on what every clank, ding, ping, and chug means. For your first time though, it might be just a bit difficult to know exactly what is wrong with a car just by listening to it. By now you’ve probably heard what a healthy car sounds like - try for cars that sound the closest to that.

After the car auction, you can learn a great deal by posing as a troubled car owner. Call up a few mechanics and ask them about the sounds you heard at the car auction. Once they give you their opinion, ask how much that kind of work might cost, and be certain to make a mental note of that for your next visit to the car auction.
